There was just so much summer this year! It seemed that blossoms and blooms were extra inspiring.
This is a very textured, loose painting that expresses my appreciation of all the summer blooms that I enjoyed this year.

Hi Andy, and thank you for writing! I work intuitively. Sometimes I do begin with a detailed drawing, but even then it will develop and change as I paint.
